I hate going on courses for work, I always have done and I always will do but unfortunately they are quite common in my line of work and our boss is very strict about making sure we do all the ones that are suggested.
It’s not that I don’t enjoy the courses, or learning, they are usually pretty interesting it’s just that I hate travelling to new places and meeting new people – most of them make you stand up in front of every one and introduce yourself and I hate things like that.
Thankfully you can do a lot of the courses online these days, the last one I had to do was occupational safety training and we used some software found online so it was much better for me – the pluses of learning something new and keeping the boss happy with without having to actually go out and face people
You must have seen all those adverts on Television recently for gold – sell your gold, sell your unwanted gold, we buy your gold – it’s like it’s constant especially during the day time shows. I guess gold is big business at the moment and that’s why these places are so keen to get their hands on it at knock down prices. I think there are better places to send it though, especially if you actually have some quality gold like gold coins houston or a very expensive piece of jewelry.
My mom recently asked me to look into how much she could get for an old pair of earrings, she said they are broken any way so she may as well have the money. It’s hard to find out without actually sending them off for a valuation but I did decide in the end that based on what other people were being offered for similar it really wasn’t worth it and she’d be better off keeping hold of them!
I have lost a lot of weight over the last few years, over 80 pounds in fact. People often ask me how I did it expecting some kind of miracle formula or quick solution but the truth is it has been a really slow process and I have done it by simply eating less and moving more.
I have done it this weight because I actually want to keep the weight off for life and apparently 95% of people who lose weight gain it all back – a very depressing statistic for sure – but those that have the most success are the ones that do it slowly, do it the right way and see it as a lifestyle change rather than a diet.
I am now down to that pesky few last pounds that I want to lose and I’d love a trip to somewhere like the True Weight Loss Clinic or Biggest Loser Resort to just kick me up the butt and help me get there – it is very very slow moving at the moment.
Have you ever noticed how small dog clothing is quite common, but you don’t really often see larger dogs dressed up.
Makes me wonder if the owners are doing it more because they think it looks cute and they see smaller dogs as accessories more than because they actually think it looks nice or serves any actual purpose.
I don’t oppose doggie clothing, don’t get me wrong I think as long as the dog is actually happy to wear whatever you put it in then it’s absolutely fine, if I had a pet dog myself I would certainly get it a nice coat for the winter months at least.
It was just something that came to me a few days ago, that you don’t often see the bigger dogs wearing tiaras or pink booties etc like you see on a lot of the smaller pooches!
