Insurance is now taken care of thanks to Netquote, they made it really easy for my to find what I was looking for – I said in my last post it would probably take 30 minutes but from start to finish it only took me around 12 minutes. I simply typed in my search and details for the Washington insurance we needed and then looked through the results that were already organized from lowest to highest – I did a quick check to see if the company that offered the lowest quote was reputable and then I filled out the forms, job done! If only every thing in life could be that simple!
I am on the lookout for the cheapest auto insurance in Virginia at the moment because the time has come again, time to renew the insurance for not only the car but also the house and our health insurance. I hate that they all come along at the same time each year but that’s our own fault I suppose.
Thankfully at least there are comparison sites out there these days that make it a lot easier to find the best prices, rather than it being a job that takes days and days and days it just takes half an hour or so.
I would be lost without comparison sites, I use them for absolutely everything not just finding the best rates on insurance. I don’t order a single thing online without using at least one comparison site first – even groceries.
I don’t know how we all survived without them to be honest, whoever invented the first one gets a big ‘thanks’ from me!
I am so jealous of my friends new bathroom, it is totally divine! They had it decorated a few weeks ago and have these gorgeous Energie Ker porcelain tiles and metallic basins.
We went round a few days ago and I was in awe, I went to use the bathroom around 5 times more than I actually needed to just so I could keep looking at it and stealing ideas for when we get to decorate our bathroom again.
It won’t be for a while though sadly as we just had it done about 5 months ago, and I do still love ours don’t get me wrong – I just always seem to get envious when other people get anything decorated. I think that’s down to the inner interior designer in me – I just like the act of designing and decorating more than actually having it done, if you know what I mean.
I have a secret, don’t tell anyone – but I love watching all those cheesy judge and jury type shows on TV! I usually can’t stand day time TV in general but especially shows that feature real people having real dramas, I find them really over the top and obnoxious but I can’t help but love the judge ones – Judge Judy is my hero, I could watch her sorting people out all day long and then some more.
Randomly I also always enjoy looking at all the court house furniture they use because it’s usually so nice and expensive looking, they use the sort of items I would like in my kitchen if money were no object.
Obviously I wouldn’t have pews and stands in my kitchen, that would just be silly – I just mean I like the wood they use and the style and cut in general
My cousin is thinking of doing some extra study, mainly because he loves to study (I know, strange right?) but also because he thinks the more he can get on his resume the better so he is always looking for courses and volunteer work he can do.
I just searched google to find him a good acls study guide because that’s the next thing he’s thinking of doing.
He’s very different from me, that would be the opposite to how I was at school. I always did everything I could to get out of studying and I didn’t care so much what my resume said – obviously his attitude is the better one to have, but I have done OK for myself in life and I had a blast as a teenager – I don’t have any regrets about it
You can get eyeglasses for as low as $8 these days, can you believe that?
I remember when I was a kid they used to cost a fortune. My parents paid for them of course, up until the age of about 16 when I had to start paying for them myself – I think I bought two pairs before giving up and stopping wearing them. I have one ‘bad’ eye and according to the optician me wearing them wasn’t doing too much to help any way.
I went to get my eyes tested again a few weeks ago though as I have been struggling to see my PC screen and it was suggested maybe I should start wearing them again and see how I get on. I groaned because I knew it was about to get expensive – but then I came across Zenni Optical via a review of them in The Examiner and jumped up and down in excitement when I realised how affordable they can be! I only wish I’d have stumbled across the site sooner as I always liked wearing glasses!
I might even treat myself to two or three pairs at this price, so I have different ones to wear depending on my mood or even my outfit
It’s ma birthday, I’m turning thirtay – woo!
Yeah that’s right, I turn the big 30 on March 20th, I am excited, I don’t really have any qualms about growing ‘old’, it happens to all of us! People have been nagging me for weeks now asking me what gift I want and I really don’t know, I have considered some running shoes but that’s a little boring – I feel I should get something more special and timeless.
There’s a nice Citizen Eco Drive watch I like and it’s not too expensive but I don’t really wear watches, they get in my way I find. I might have to make an exception this time though and go for it because I really do love it

Like many other cities in the United States, Houston has its share of individuals who are addicted to pain medications, alcohol, and other hindering substances.
Detox Houston is a service designed to stabilize and detox those who are addicted to any substance. This efficient service helps to prevent any uncomfortable side effects such as withdrawals, cravings and/or possible relapses.
This service is provided in a physician’s office and not in a traditional rehabilitation or mental health clinic. Great care is taken to protect the confidentiality of the individuals who enter into this detox program. Medications used in this service are Subutex, Suboxone, Librium, Klonopin and Revia. They help to prevent withdrawals and cravings. It is possible that other medications will be prescribed to help control anxiety, depression and/or sleeplessness. The two doctors who prescribe medications and monitor the individuals in the program have more than 30 years experience in providing these services.
The addicts are not the only people affected by their drug and alcohol abuse. Those addicts who have kids or loved ones who care about them often hurt the loved ones more than they hurt themselves. Young children are left on their own to get themselves dressed, fed, and off to school or to the babysitter. They go without proper nutrition and lack of guidance. Detox Houston offers patients a comfortable, friendly, and healing environment. Testimonies are available from those who have successfully completed the program. If you or someone you know is looking for a new, clean beginning, this program will help you attain that better life you and your loved ones all deserve.
