Haha I am so glad that you can get young and fashionable maternity clothes these days, I was just looking at some pictures from the late 70s when my Mom was pregnant with first my brother and then me – she looks like a tent in her big shapeless floral dresses, truly horrific!
Not that I have any plans to be getting pregnant any time soon, that’s still a good few years away I reckon – but it’s comforting to know that when the time comes I won’t have to spend 9 months looking like a tent and that I can actually wear trendy clothes still 
Yay, I just arranged to go shopping with a work friend. I absolutely love to shop as you know but since I moved out here I don’t get to go too often, mainly because I always used to shop with my mom and I don’t know many people here. I hate shopping on my own as well, you need a girl friend there with you to make it fun!
I am going to pick up some bits for hubbys birthday, maybe treat myself to some new underwear and I would also like some new jeans.
I am going to avoid shoes though, I definitely don’t need new shoes but I know I will buy some because I just can’t resist hehe
I think it’s pretty awesome that maternity clothes are now a lot cooler and funkier than they used to be. I remember several years ago getting asked to help a friend find some trendy stuff and really struggling – I always get asked to help people find things online, I am seen as the shopping/Internet expert in my group of friends which I rather enjoy — it’s nice to feel needed for something
These days it seems that retailers have finally got with the times and realised that not every pregnant woman wants to wear a maternity dress that looks more like a tent than something she would have loved to were a few months ago!
Just because you are pregnant doesn’t suddenly mean you stop caring about fashion and looking good. Though I am sure a lot of women do prefer the big comfortable style maternity dresses that are out there — not all do and those ladies should be catered to as well.
I know loads of sites now that do funky maternity clothes such as Due Maternity, so on the odd occasion someone asks me I already know where to tell them to go without having to spend gosh knows how long surfing the Internet first.

I found out today that my favourite shoe store is closing down, nooooooooo. I have shopped there for years because they sell awesome and most importantly, cheap, shoes.
I got 6 pairs from them recently, yeah you heard me 6 pairs. 2 pairs of boots, some slippers, some court shoes and wellies.
I only wish I had more feet to put them all on.
I was searching around earlier for other shoe stores, in hopes of finding somewhere that offers a similar range for a similar price and I came across a neat looking site — I headed straight for their sale section which is what I always do whenever I go to an online store, I do love my bargains, and they have loads of designer shoes in the sale — yay. I never ever buy designer shoes unless they are a killer price because, well because frankly I cannot afford to and I don’t think they are worth it at full price, but I would buy a pair a day if I could afford to!
They have every thing from gorgeous Chloe boots and Micheal Kors heals to sexy steve madden ballet flats.
I might just have to get some stuff ordered, see how fast they arrive and if I have got myself a new favourite shoe store
